Brambles Hindon is located directly next door to the popular Hindon C of E Primary School in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside near the villages of Tisbury, West and East Knoyle, Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Semly and Fontmell Bishop.
Our Story
Brambles Hindon opened in 2019 as one of our five thriving outdoor nursery settings. We are passionate about the outdoors and take our inspiration from a forest school ethos.

Our setting is surrounded by open fields and we often have our "neighbours", the cows walking by to say hello! The children experience wildlife every day, be it birds, moles, mice and hedgehogs which supports our natural learning ethos.

Our lovely cabin houses an eating and play area, along with the toilets and a cosy reading area.
​
We also have a yurt within the setting which is filled with open ended, real life objects and resources for the children to explore. The yurt has a log burner for the cooler months.

Our setting here in Hindon boasts of many different areas for the children to develop both physically and emotionally. There is a mud kitchen, mud pit, reading area, a creative area, loose parts/large construction area and a climbing area. Different provocations (to motivate thinking or investigation) and resources are left out to encourage the children to take their play in any direction they choose.
