Area Manager and Designated safeguarding lead

I joined the Brambles team in March 2014 and have been at Figheldean as deputy manager, manager, senior manager and now Area manager for our 5 settings and holiday club.

I have had many years of experience in early years and and schools in a variety of settings. I gained my Ba Hons in Primary practice at Winchester university while being an early years practitioner.

I am passionate about treating people as individuals, meeting the needs of our families and my team at Figheldean as well as our wider Brambles community in my new role. The children are at the heart of what we do here at Brambles.

At home, my Fiancé and I just got engaged in Cyprus and have brought our first home together which we share with our rescue dog Ruby.  We love spending time with her outdoors across the plain.

Deputy Manager
(Squirrels Family)

Hi, I’m Beki and I started my Brambles adventure in 2019 as a Practitioner. In 2020 I became a Senior Practitioner and I have now progressed to the role of Deputy Manager alongside one of my lovely colleagues! I love that Brambles has given me such wonderful opportunities and I have gained so much experience from it. I have worked in childcare for eight years and in 2020 I started studying the Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner Level 5 and since then, I have learnt new skills that I have been able to take to my practice. I love watching the children grow and being part of their development is very rewarding.

In my spare time I enjoy walking in the countryside or visiting the beach especially when the sun is setting! I love going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
